How Text-Based Content can grow your brand

The power of words: How text-based content boosts your reach.

As a writer, I know firsthand the power of words. And in today’s digital age, the power of text-based content cannot be overstated. From LinkedIn articles to tweets, text-based content is a valuable tool for boosting your reach and establishing your personal brand.

One of the primary advantages of text-based content is its versatility. Unlike video or audio content, text-based content can be easily consumed on a variety of devices, from smartphones to laptops. This means that your content can reach a broad audience and be easily shared, increasing your exposure and reach.

Text based content is also able to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Whether you’re writing a blog post or a tweet, text-based content forces you to distil your ideas into their most essential form. There is no room for interpretation, the facts need to be clearly and concisely put on to the paper. This clarity can help you establish yourself as a thought leader in your industry and build trust with your audience.

Text based content can also be used in a write once, use many times scenario. The same words that you produce can be used for your LinkedIn post, tweet or blog. Not to mention at the end of the week, you can wrap up all the links of your best content and send it out as an email to all your newsletter subscribers.

As with all content, the process of producing it and using it successfully is by being strategic and posting regularly. The plan needs to align with your personal brand and the goals that you have set for yourself. Failure to plan is planning to fail.

Your strategy should be based around the subjects you are interested in gaining an audience in. The content needs to be consistent otherwise you will cause some of your audience to not want to read your content, and they may never return to your blog, email or stream of thought again. You have built an audience and they are there because you say something they are interested in. Keep to that track and provide them with what they want.

Once you have an audience then the growth will start to happen organically as they share your work with others, increasing the audience and hopefully starting the exponential growth.

So, start crafting those words and watch your reach grow!
