How the small things can make a big difference
Yesterday I was really struggling to find the motivation to write anything for my website or for LinkedIn. However, the previous evening I had tweeted that I had enjoyed the latest My First Million podcast. This simple tweet from an account with a very small number of followers got a response from Shaan Puri, one of the hosts.
Last night I tweeted that his response to my first tweet had got me through last night’s issues with motivation. No response, but a like from Shaan. To click the like button on twitter would have taken him less than a second. It made a difference to me. Remember that it is these small things that can make a big difference to the person on the other end.
Engaging with your audience is a vital part of what you do as a business owner. Taking the time to hit a like button or reply to a comment takes you seconds but can make all the difference to your customer, reader or new follower. It is those small things that can help you stand out from the crowd.
